Make yourself a good and large amount of tea, coffee or whatever pleases you. If it’s possible, listen to the music you love and which comforts you. Whilst having your first sip of tea/coffee/whatever, split up your work tasks. What’s important and must be done during workday? What’s less important and can be done later that day or even tomorrow? Close your mail account while working on the important stuff. Take breaks. Go outside for a few minutes. Put on “Sweet Child o’ Mine” and rock the hell out of you if that helps, too. Don’t eat crap. Your body and your brain deserve something better than a floppy sandwich or a chocolate bar of whatever substance. Say No. Or learn to say No. You don’t have to do all the work load. Have fun. You should work for your life and not live for your work.
