1.  Cultivate friends and acquaintances who are interested in you, not your job.
2.  Take up activities which provide another timtetable to counter the work timetable. ie activities where your presence is required by others. I recommend Morris dancing ( seriously) but any team based activity works.
3.  Read the Resilience Space blog.
4.  Ask yourself whether you would still be doing this if you weren’t paid to do it. If the answer is no then it is just a job. It might be a very rewarding, handsomely paying and self agrandising job, but it is just a job.
